In this episode of The Fingal’s Cave Podcast, we’re hosting a casual, round table discussion about many Pink Floyd releases on the humble Compact Disc. Guests Adam, Mike, and Nils return for a tour through their time collecting Floyd CDs in the pre-internet 80’s and early 90’s, as well as highlighting some classic or hidden gem releases. From the elusive Zabriskie Point soundtrack to unusual single mixes, the world of Floyd and Solo material on CD is vast; we barely scratch the surface of it all here.

Rounding out this discussion are debates on CD vs Vinyl, marketing gimmicks, the future of the Pink Floyd Box Set and the longevity of physical media. A little bit of something for everyone, from casual to enthusiast.

If you have any favorite Pink Floyd or Solo Member CD acquisition, share in the thread below! We’d love to read your stories. Next month, The Doctor will be in.  NOTE: We recorded this episode way back at the start of September, with no idea of what the Animals 50th set leaks would bring for speculation. Some of our comments have aged...interestingly!
